A beautiful trip to the verdant Parnitha, starting from Bike Me Up HQ. An hour's drive approx. (36km) depending on traffic brings us to Katsimidi-Parnitha, the tallest mountain in the Attica region, which offers a refreshing escape just a short distance from Athens. Renowned for its lush pine forests, diverse wildlife, and well-marked trails. Parnitha is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. The mountain’s natural beauty makes it a favorite destination for hiking, mountain biking, and nature walks being part of the Natura 2000 network.

We will cycle through forested roads towards Beletsi Lake for a short stop. From there we'll fluidly cycle to lower altitudes. Our ride is complemented by panoramic views of Athens and the Saronic Gulf.

We continue our cycling ride to Malakasa Village for our second Stop.

The Archaeological Site of Amphiaraeion very close to Oropos is the next place we are going to visit and spend some time admiring the temple and theatre that was dedicated to the ancient oracle Amphiaraeion.

Ending our e-bike trip at Akrotiri Oropos beach where you may have a refreshing swim in the crystal clear waters of Saronic Gulf (season permitted).

In the meantime, as we are preparing our way back to Athens, there will be plenty of time to try the local dishes at a seaside restaurant.
